Crayola Scribble Scrubbie (also known as Crayola Washimals) is operated by Red Games Co. on behalf of Crayola. As a globally recognized family-friendly brand, privacy and digital safety are top priorities for Crayola. To support this effort, we’ve provided this privacy statement to explain how we collect, use, and disclose personal information in clear, easy-to-understand language. This Privacy Policy may be updated at any time as new features are added or as the law changes. Changes to the Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time and we will post a notice at the top of the policy if we do. If we make material changes to this policy that affect the collection and use of your information, we will notify you if we have your email address. Data Collection and Use

To play our app we do not actively collect any personal data from children. Personal data is information about you and can include things like your full name, address, email or phone number.

If a parent or legal guardian uses the contact form in the app, we collect their email address in order to respond to their query.

If a parent or legal guardian creates an account in the app, we collect their email address for their login and account access. We also collect an anonymous device identifier to allow them to manage the devices that can access their subscription.

Certain personal (photos) and non-personal data (as described below) is collected and used in the App to allow players to create and save their scores and game progress. This data is stored locally on a player's device and in a player’s iCloud Key Value Store.

iCloud Key Value Store

iCloud Key-Value storage is a safe and secure cloud-based service provided by Apple that allows an app to save data to a user’s private iCloud Account storage and access that data from multiple devices that may be logged into the same iCloud account.

Device Save Data

• Initial Install (date/time when first installed)
• Exit Session Time
• Last News Eval (last time app checked if it should show feature modals)
• Last News Alert (last time app showed a feature modal)
• News Alerts Today (how many feature modals the user has seen today)
• Time Offset (to change the time for debug purposes, only in debug builds)
• Sound On
• Music On
• Saved Permissions (what permissions have been asked from the users)
• News Viewed (what feature modals have the users seen)

Service Providers

The App does not share data with any third party service provider that can be used for that third party’s own purposes. Red Games Co collects technical data including an IP address, equipment, browsing actions, country code, user agent, App version and Operating System, as well as statistics.

Google Firebase is used to store anonymous usage data for the purpose of helping Red Games Co. improve the app experience. All sharing options within Google Firebase are turned off. An example of this anonymous data is the number of times each activity has been played, which helps us understand what type of content is most popular. Google Firebase also collects anonymous technical data including device type, app version, country and language settings.

This data is not used to contact or build a profile of the child or used for behavioral advertising.

Data Retention

• User Data: Stored in the user’s iCloud and retained at the user’s discretion.
• Player Data and Real Time Game Inputs: These are stored for the duration of a drawing the user is creating and not retained past their lifespan.
• Device Data: Is saved locally on the user’s device.
• IP address: Red Games and the service providers we work with do not retain user IP addresses.

Players Under the Age of 16

This game collects, uses, and discloses data from kids in the same way as for other users, as described in this policy. The game’s use of kids’ data is limited to support internal operations of the game. Parents can request deletion of data by contacting us at the email listed below.

Disclosure of Info

We may disclose your personal information if required by law or in the event of a company sale or proposed change of ownership. We may also disclose it to protect Red Games Co. rights and properties or to investigate fraud or intellectual property infringement.
